A New Use for a Ringer

I have a teenage son. He likes to play video games. He has selective hearing. When we try to call for him says he does not hear us. When I saw this battery/wall plug door bell, I thought this could work! When we called for him to come down, after a couple of minutes of him "not hearing us" he came down, and we showed him his new room plugin! His face was priceless, a mix between this sucks and whats going on?

This little guy has 36 chimes and 4 volume levels, and it also lights up! So if you're the type that likes to coordinate with the holidays, you can set this to some Christmas tunes or something else as there are 35 other tunes to choose from. The box that plugs in is not big and ugly at all. I really like this purchase, and will likely purchase more. This also works well if you need to alert someone with noise or lights if they are in the other room. I will be using one at work, which will alert the Doctor of time spent.

The remote works great, and is small but not too small where it can get lost easily. I can see this being used for many things.
